Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites based on business requirements.
- Create, edit, and troubleshoot WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure seamless integration of creative assets.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow web accessibility standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems in a timely manner.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, tools, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with PHP and MySQL for back-end WordPress development.
- Experience with version control tools like Git is a plus.
- Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
