Job Title: Manager of Security & HSEOverview:
The Manager of Security & HSE is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and environmental compliance of a manufacturing plant. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to protect employees, assets, and the environment from potential hazards and security threats. The manager oversees safety audits, incident investigations, and emergency response plans, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement security and HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
Oversee the training and development of employees on security and safety protocols.
Coordinate with external agencies and authorities on security and safety matters.
Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety and security regulations.
Manage emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
Maintain records and documentation related to security and HSE activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Proven experience in a managerial role within security or HSE.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop effective safety strategies.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
