We at IZ Global are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager - Transport Planner with expertise in Logistics to join our growing team
Employment Type: Contractual for 6 months shall be renewed based on performance (2 months probation)
Work Setup: On-Site
Office Timings: 09.00 am till 06.00 pm Monday till Friday
Office Location: Garden Town, Lahore
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize transportation plans for businesses, municipalities, and other organizations.
- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and materials.
- Monitor and manage transportation budgets.
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Address and resolve any transportation-related issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation systems and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
